The Days of the Week

The days of the week in English are: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. As you can see, we usually start with Sunday (domingo) in English and they must be written with capital.

The names come from Northern mythology. For instance Friday and Thursday mean Frida's or Thor's day. These are Northern gods. Monday and Sunday are the days of the moon and the sun.
